1. Grants will be made to organizations, schools and parishes that meet the following criteria: a. The grant applicant is a Catholic organization serving in the Diocese of Lubbock. b. The applicant is tax-exempt under §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
2. All grant applications and all supporting documents are due on March 31, 2024.
3. Due to the number of applications, late requests will not be considered. 4. All parish grant applications must have the approval of the pastor and must include his
signature.
5. Only one grant application will be considered per parish/school/organization. The rceipt of applications will be confirmed by email or phone. Please check with the Foundation if you did not receive confirmation. 6. Preference is given to projects that can be completed or substantially completed with a grant ranging from $500 - $3,000 from The Catholic Foundation, in combination with other promised funds for the project.
7. Due to limited funds, not all requests will be funded. Please continue your other fundraising efforts.
8. All applicants will be notified in May, 2024.
9. All grants awarded will require a status report. Status reports must be filed within six months after funding of the grant. Exceptions will be considered. Status reports may include photos, receipts, descriptions, and testimonials. The Foundation will not accept applications from a grant recipient which has failed to file timely status reports for a previous grant. Members of the Catholic Foundation deserve transparency and this requirement builds trust among membership.
10. Grant recipients are asked to publicize the Foundation grant award in its parish or through organization communication.
